In 14 – 17 April 2011, Prague hosted the fifth international bienniale ENTER. This year’s edition of art, science and technology festival was called “DATAPOLIS” and was primarily focused on city and urban environments.
One of the main events of the festival was an interactive exhibition DATAPOLIS located in the gallery of the National Technical Library in Prague. Between various topics of the exhibition we could find e.g. social networks, life in the cities, sentient cities as well as environmental issues in general.
Equally interesting was the international symposium DATAPOLIS, which took place mainly during the second and third day. Like the festival, the conference was also focused on the relationship between people and technology in urban environments.
In addition to all-day program, which included the exhibition and symposium, there was an interesting evening program as well – e.g. a series of performances at the Theatre Archa, or the RESET NIGHT music program at the Cross Club in Prague.
